Not about to settle for the ordinary, the parents enhanced the planning of the bridal couple by adding special touches that made this Edgewood event especially beautiful! Thomas Hughes Videography filmed the entire ceremony while Tania Soderman Photography captured the moment and rest of the day on film.
The bridesmaids, so many that they could not all stand up for the bride all received front row seats and a single rose bouquet as they were honored as "Ladies in Waiting" elegantly dressed in black cocktail dresses.
The groom and brides father wore fishing lure ties in honor of the grooms father who was an avid fisherman.
With 250 guests, the parents were to make sure everyone had all that they needed. After the ceremony, the guests were entertained with an extended cocktail hour... with a Seafood and Martini Bar, complete with caviar, oysters, seafood crepes prepared individually by the chefs of Edgewood. Stunning flower arrangements designed by Thrans Flowers were everywhere adding to the rich fall colors.
During the wine pairing event, the musical talent of Avalanche - a violin and acoustic guitar duo - set the mood for the elegant evening to come.
The wedding cake was created by Sweet Sensations and was enjoyed by all. Decorated in earthly browns with hues of blues, the reception was one of the most elegant that Sierra Weddings has had the pleasure of planning and shows that Lake Tahoe is a location for some of the best destination weddings in the world! The party continued into the late hours thanks to the music of the Larry Lynch Band .
