The humble beginnings of a small business….the concept of Sierra Weddings started at a kitchen table, with a bottle of wine, a pen, a paper napkin and a new family's desire to have mom stay home with little ones.     
The napkin used to brainstorm is long gone….but the dream of Sierra Weddings has grown way beyond the perimeters of the napkin!   On February 14, 2007 we are celebrating 10 successful years in business fulfilling the wedding plans of brides and groom from around the world.   

Sierra Weddings LLC has become what it is today by a series of events and opportunities….

Aimee Chesebrough .  A native of Southern California, she was raised in the catering and event planning business. After relocating to Lake Tahoe, Aimee found her dream career coordinating weddings for people from around the globe and became a partner with Sierra Weddings llc. Since then Aimee has brought creative flair and expertise to the Lake Tahoe Destination Wedding market
Locally, Aimee has served on the Board of Directors for the South Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association since 2003 and completed her term as Vice-President in 2006.
Aimee has differentiated herself through the years by becoming an expert in the design aspect of wedding coordination.  Aimee’s work was recently recognized by The Event Solution Magazine as she was nominated for the “Rising Star Award” for event design work.
Aimee continues to keep with the current trends by attending national conferences for event planning, and buying every wedding publication on the planet!

Since 1997 Lori’s involvement with the wedding community in South Lake Tahoe and continuous education in the wedding industry insures brides not only professional service, but the latest updates on what is new in the wedding world.
Lori has been invited to represent Lake Tahoe at several conferences.  She was a panel speaker at The Association of Bridal Consultants Conference in Los Angeles facilitated by Beverly Clark of (wedding location .com) to discuss the trend of destination weddings. Also represented the Lake Tahoe Destination at the Association for Wedding Professionals International conference in New Orleans where she sat on a panel with other destination wedding planners from around the world.
Lori has been the President of Northern Nevada's premiere bridal organization Weddings of the West and the Lake Tahoe Wedding and Honeymoon Association. Lori has served on the South Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is currently Vice-president of the Tahoe Tallac Association.
Armed with a BA in Communications from Sacramento State, her entrepreneur spirit, and her experience in the Tour and Travel Market, Ski Industry and Corporate Event Planning she brings a unique perspective to her clients when planning their Destination Wedding at Lake Tahoe
