The Day: The perfect Love Story...
if you're a runner that is.
Jenny and Stefan met each other while competing in a triathlon in Florida.
The former Swimsuit model and the professional triathlete said it was
love at first sight! Stefan was from Denmark and Jenny from Florida. They choose Lake Tahoe
because it reminded Stefan of his homeland. They loved it here so much they
now reside in the area.
The wedding held at St. Francis of the Mountains Chapel located at Fallen Leaf Lake was
the classic, "simple but elegant" ceremony. The tahoe rustic mountain wedding ceremony was beautiful and simple. String Beings provided the music while Robert Orr helped the couple exchange vows. The chapel was a perfect setting for the couple. Nestled among
the mature aspen trees and rugged Tahoe mountains; friends, relatives,
children and even "Molly" their very special canine, enjoyed
the beautiful fall day so famous in Lake Tahoe.
The reception site that the couple chose was the South Lake Tahoe's Valhalla
Grand Hall. The rich dark wood and stone fireplace reminded the groom of Denmark. During the reception they instilled
many of his country's traditions - singing, traditional toasts and more
to make a truly unique experience! The evening was catered by D’Lish Catering , the floral arrangements designed by Thrans the desert buffet created by Sweet Sensations the video taken by Videoquest Productions and the event captured on film by XSight photography. Prior to the wedding, Jenny and Stefan ventured into the land of swing, taking lessons for their first dance to, “It had to Be You.” The bride’s parents performed their own choreographed dance, followed by Stefan and his mother, Jenny and her father.Everyone danced the night away to the sounds of Wally’s Swing World while the fire crackled in the fireplace
creating a warm and wonderful event.
