The Day: When a man loves a woman...
you've heard the song.
Tony loves his bride so much that he planned the entire wedding with surprises beyond her wildest dreams! "She is my princess," he tells his Sierra Weddings consultant "it has to be something amazing!"
September being notorious for the best weather of the year at Lake Tahoe, was no exception for Tony and his bride Ginger. The ceremony was held at the Lake Tahoe Golf Course a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding in Lake Tahoe! with a majestic granite mountain backdrop and beautifully manicured lawns. The ceremony was intimate with only 20 friends and family members attending. While the bride walked down the aisle to the music of String Beings the guests could sit back and enjoy the beauty of this alpine destination. Rev. David Beronio was the officiant. After a dove release and a cocktail reception the bride and groom were wisked away in a Stretch Rolls Royce hired out of San Francisco (the only one of it's kind). This very special vehicle has transported people such as the Prince of Persia, a sheik, heads of state and more. The bride was very pleased!
The Rolls arrived for the reception and the Princess Bride, her groom and their intimate guest list boarded the Tahoe Paradise. This private yacht was adorned with beautiful flowers designed by Thrans and set sail into the crystal blue water of Lake Tahoe. While the yacht sailed through Emerald Bay the captain invited the couple to position themselves at the bow of the vessel while the theme from the Titanic played throughout the bay. The only island in the Lake, is found in Emerald bay, Fanette island is a good luck symbol for all that touch it. So the bride and groom positioned themselves to bring good luck for their married lives!
On board Chef Theresa prepared a meal to remember and was thanked with a standing ovation from the bridal party.
The rest of the evening was enjoyed by all as Bill McClain’s Mobile DJ kept the party rocking. The mini-individual wedding cakes were created by Sweet Sensations and will be remembered by all who were there.
