The Day: After spending a few years living in Truckee while Charlie pursued a ski race coaching career the couple decided that Lake Tahoe would be the perfect place to be married. They had met on Kraig’s list in the Bay area, both attending William’s college but never knowing one another until they found love online! The North Shore of Lake Tahoe provides many areas to get near the lake and provided guests with an incredible memory.  The easy going rehearsal dinner was catered by Sancho's and the event was held at the Ramada in Tahoe Vista.
The next day large puffy clouds enhanced the blue waters as the bride and groom exchanged vows at the beach.  Stunning flowers from A Rose is a Rose lit up the bride and ceremony site.  The entire day was captured for the couple to remember by Carolyn Leonard Photography.
After the ceremony guests moved to one of North Shore’s finest lake shore restaurants- Garwood’s.  This restaurant was chosen because after Charlie proposed they had dinner at this special spot.  Located on the edge of the Lake the guests got quite a treat with a spectacular sunset and the sounds of North Shore Entertainment.  Reggae was a must during the cocktail hour, while Latin jazz was heard during dinner as a nod to Lauren’s Mexican Heritage. The wedding cake took on a different spin as the mother created a cupcake cake to be enjoyed by all the guests.  After a wonderful Honeymoon the coupled moved to Ohio where Lauren will be a history professor at Denison University.
